Join us for a sailing adventure in one of the world's most beautiful locations! Charter the 34' Catalina Sailboat for up to 6 people. Rates as low as $175 per hour and minimum booking of 2 hours. Rates: • 2-Hours: $350 • Full Day: $700 What To Expect Onboard: Our vessel departs from Bainbridge Island's Waterfront Park, an easy walk from the ferry landing and downtown Winslow. Leaving the dock, we'll pass through beautiful Eagle Harbor before raising sails. To the east you’ll see the iconic skyline of Seattle, with majestic Mount Rainier to the south, the Olympic Mountains to the west, and Mount Baker to the north. Depending on the day, we’ll get up close to seals, explore some beautiful harbors with stunning waterfront homes, and maybe even spot whales. Or we could see a nuclear submarine, inbound container ships, or century-old schooners. She is a 1990 Catalina 34 sailboat, specially chosen by Captain Scott as the ideal vessel for teaching sailing and comfortable cruising with charter guests. She has a large cockpit that seats up to six and sails extremely well in all conditions. Down below, she features two private cabins and a large “head” (bathroom in mariner lingo). She is a U.S. Coast Guard documented vessel fully equipped for your comfort aboard. Scott was an awesome captain and host. He was excellent with prompt communication. Having lived on Bainbridge Island for 25 years, he really knows his way around. I enjoyed hearing about the history of the area. The boat was perfect for our needs. There was a cooler with ice for drinks or food if you’d like. All in all, it was a great afternoon.

Scott made our trip perfect. He was very accommodating to our plan and took my parents on a water born homes tour to start and finished with letting my wife sail out across the sound. Pick up and drop off were easy. Scott had great stories and was entertaining without being over bearing. We will certainly be going out again with other visitors to the island.

Captain Scott has sailed the Salish Sea for over 40 years, with beautiful Bainbridge Island as his home port for the past 23 years. With experience sailing in the Caribbean and crewing in the 2005 Transpac race to Hawaii, he still considers his home waters the best in North America for their stunning beauty, complex coastlines, and abundant wildlife. A daysail in Puget Sound provides all this and more, and there is a reason the San Juan Islands to the north are one of the most desirable charter destinations in the entire world. After raising a family and a career spent mostly indoors, Captain Scott decided to spend this next phase of his life working as a charter captain. He is a licensed U.S. Coast Guard captain for boats up to 50 gross tons, with endorsements for sail and assistance towing. He has taught sailing professionally (as well as to his wife and three daughters) and enjoys sharing time on the water with locals and visitors alike.
