    About Cape Town

Located on the shore of Table Bay, the port city of Cape Town experiences warm summers and mild winters. Surrounded by busy harbors and beautiful scenery, the city is a boater’s delight. There are three natural harbors on the Cape Point Route. The top of the impressive Table Mountain offers some breathtaking view of the surrounding. Take a cable car to reach the mountaintop and enjoy the view of the busy city. Sit back and watch the boats as they leave the harbor and set sail for the Robben Island in Table Bay.

There are three natural harbors in Cape Town. These are located on the Cape Point Route. Countless boats head off to various locations from Simon’s Town, Hout Bay, and Kalk Bay. Cape Town offers a myriad of opportunities to explore your passion for boating. From the more relaxing options to the more adventurous alternatives, the city has it all. If you are here for a leisurely trip, make sure to visit Cape Point. Take one of the boat cruises that depart from the Hour Bay Harbor. These will take you to Duiker Island where you can watch the Cape Fur Seals from close quarters. You could also take cruises from Simon’s Town to watch dolphins, whales, seals, and sharks.

A boat trip to Seal Island located just 10 miles away from Simon’s Town is a great way to spend a few hours. More than 75,000 seals live here, giving the island its name. The presence of seals makes the island a popular feeding ground for the Great White shark. For some more adventure and fun in the water, try snorkeling.

Fishing Charters in Cape Town, Keep It Reel Fishing Charters Western Cape

A substantial, well equipped boat with a friendly and flexible captain. When we struggled to find fish at first, we were given some options to catch smaller fish or squid or keep going for the big fish. Eventually we found the fish and it was a great thrill. I will not only recommend this charter to my friends, i will be back myself.

Our team thoroughly enjoyed the trip and we would highly recommend this listing to anyone. The team was very friendly and made us all feel very welcome. We enjoyed the music and onboard bar. We also saw some nice fish and the staff did give us some nice facts about it.
