Spend a relaxing day boating around Washington, District of Columbia. Book the 23ft Odyssey Pontoon for up to 12 person. Rate as low $1,000 per day. We would like to introduce you to my 24' pontoon, Jimboat. Jimboat was professionally refurbished by (and named in honor of) my friend Jim, a retired Navy special ops veteran who builds and flies his own helicopters. Jim spared no detail and takes the most meticulous care of machines of anyone I’ve ever met. Jimboat is made for entertaining, with comfortable seating in the back and a wide-open deck in the front. He can theoretically hold more people, though insurance limits us to 12. That means plenty of extra space and floatation power. He’s powered by a 90hp commercial-grade Mercury outboard. I rent this boat out because I love being on the water and want to share the experience with other people. Hence, my goal is to make this as easy and fun as possible for you. I’ll give you a full orientation if it’s your first time out and can help with the launching and docking process. I want to built relationships and am happy to give discounts to repeat customers. FAQ: Where do we meet? We typically meet at J dock at Columbia Island Marina. I can help pull the boat to the end of the dock for easy launching. Can we board somewhere else, like the Georgetown Waterfront? Yes, I will deliver the boat to the Georgetown waterfront. Other places like Alexandria, Woodbridge, and Lake Anna are negotiable. Just message me. Can I bring food and/or drinks? Yes! Alcohol is fine (so long as whoever is driving is sober) and there is a BBQ grill that attaches to the railing. What if we need more seating on the deck? There are extra folding chairs and a folding table on the boat. Do I need a captain's license? No, just a standard state boating license - it takes a few hours and about $50 for the online class. I can give you a full orientation after that, if needed.
