Charter Cancellation Policy, Rental Terms & Security Allowance Cancellation & Refund Policy • 100% refund if canceled seven (7) days or more before the scheduled charter date. • 50% refund for weather-related cancellations requested by the renter within seven (7) days of the scheduled charter date. • If unsafe weather conditions are determined by the Captain, including but not limited to high winds, severe storms, lightning, Coast Guard advisories, unsafe water conditions, or other hazardous conditions, Patch On Water reserves the right to reschedule the charter at no additional charge. • Late arrivals do not extend charter time. • No-shows are non-refundable. • Cancellations made less than seven (7) days before departure are non-refundable. • If a charter is terminated due to guest misconduct, intoxication, illegal activity, unsafe behavior, or failure to comply with Captain instructions, no refund will be issued. Rental Terms All charters depart from: James Creek Marina Guests must arrive a minimum of fifteen (15) minutes before the scheduled departure time. The vessel will depart at the scheduled charter time regardless of guest arrival status. Maximum passenger capacity shall not exceed the legal capacity of the vessel. All guests must comply with applicable United States Coast Guard regulations, marina rules, and Captain instructions at all times. The charter fee includes: • Vessel rental • Licensed Captain • Fuel for normal cruising operations • Standard safety equipment Guests are financially responsible for excessive cleaning, damage to the vessel, missing equipment, upholstery damage, interior damage, exterior damage, dock damage, or violations of marina or boating regulations caused by members of their party. The following are strictly prohibited: • Illegal drugs or controlled substances • Smoking inside the vessel cabin • Unsafe or reckless conduct • Interference with vessel operations The Captain has full authority over vessel operations and passenger safety and reserves the right to terminate any charter without refund for unsafe, disruptive, intoxicated, unlawful, or non-compliant behavior. Security Allowance / Damage Deposit Security Allowance Amount: $1,500.00 Guests may be charged up to $1,500.00 for damages or losses including but not limited to: • Excessive cleaning • Upholstery damage • Interior vessel damage • Exterior vessel damage • Missing equipment • Dock or marina damage caused by guests • Any uninsured costs arising from guest negligence • Damage caused by failure to follow Captain instructions We reserves the right to pursue recovery of damages exceeding the security allowance amount where applicable. Acknowledgement By booking a charter with us the renter acknowledges and agrees to all policies, terms, conditions, and safety requirements contained herein.
