I recently booked a 4-hour rental with Jose for his Mako out of Galveston, and it was hands-down one of the best spontaneous adventures my family and I have had on the water. We’re a group of four—me, my wife, and our two kids (ages 9 and 12)—and we were looking for something fun and low-key to beat the Texas heat without committing to a full-day charter. Jose’s listing on GetMyBoat caught our eye because of the boat’s size (perfect for us, not too cramped) and the glowing reviews about his reliability. Robert was so nice and friendly and very speedy with his response to our last minute inquiry about his services. The boat was very clean and nice plus having an ice chest filled with ice already on board saved us the hassle and we greatly appreciated that. The floating pad made the day. Everyone enjoyed it so much. Very nice captain and will definitely use you again next time we’re here.

Robert was so easy to work with, picked us up right at our condo, and took us to see dolphins and our favorite lunch spot at pirates cove!! Driving around 12 girls on a boat and he was cool as a cucumber! Would absolutely book again. He is awesome, don’t wait, just book him!!

Captain Rob was wonderful! He was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. He took us wherever we wanted to go and found lots of dolphins for us to watch! It was a great day on his boat!

55' Yacht on Beautiful Lake Pontchartrain

We were in town for a work event and decided to charter a boat for a few hours to enjoy the lake—and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip! Captain Bradley was fantastic—professional, friendly, and made the whole experience seamless and fun. The weather was perfect: warm with a nice breeze, and the food on board was delicious. We cruised around the lake, relaxed, and had an amazing time. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we’ve already decided to make this our new annual work retreat tradition. I highly recommend Captain Bradley and his company—you won’t be disappointed!
