Captain Jeff is USCG licensed, State of Louisiana licensed and insured, which means that he has passed the licensing requirements for navigational and seamanship competence and on-water experience. He has captained customers with Fin & Feather Guides since 1998. How Do I Get to the Boat? We launch out of Delacroix, Louisiana. To get there from New Orleans on I-10 East: Exit I-510 South – Exit 246A – Hwy 47 go to the 4th red light – 8.0 miles Turn left on Hwy 39 and go 8.1 miles to a flashing yellow light Turn left on Hwy 46 and go 8.1 miles to a stop sign Go straight onto Hwy 300 and go 7.1 miles to 6517 Hwy 300 Take a left into the lot and my boat is located across the street What Should I Pack? You will need to bring a hat, sunglasses, food/drinks, camera, ice chest to get your catch home and a valid fishing/hunting license. Hunting trips require camo clothing, gun, shotshells and boots. Captain Jeff will provide all rod/reels, tackle, bait, fuel, ice. All fish are cleaned and bagged for travel. What types of fish,duck, etc will we see? We target inshore saltwater fish species such as – speckled trout, redfish, flounder, black drum, sheepshead and shark. We target waterfowl species such as – Mallard, Mottled, Pintail, Widgeon, Gadwall, Redhead, Canvasback, Bluewing Teal, Green Winged Teal and Wood Ducks. We also target the Eastern Wild Turkey.
