Our boats weigh <12>Adirondack Connections is an all-season, fully insured, owner/operated guide and trip planning service specializing in small group outdoor adventures. We have welcomed outdoor enthusiasts - both beginner and more experienced - for adventure experiences since 2002. Based in the northern Adirondacks, we are about a 35 minute drive west of Lake Placid. We offer experiences throughout the Adirondack Park and design custom trip packages based on individual and group interests, needs, desires and comfort levels. The St. Regis Canoe, Bog River, Lows Lake, Whitney Wilderness, Essex Lakes, Northville-Placid Trail and the popular High Peaks Wilderness, Raquette River, Saranac Lakes, and Cranberry Lake Wild Forest areas are nearby. We also offer a variety of Women's paddle, camping, backpack, and snowshoe experiences, as well as hiking trips in the Adirondack High Peaks for those aspiring to become Adirondack 46ers. THE ADIRONDACK PARK Upstate New York's Adirondack Park is the most unusual park in the United States. The Adirondack Park is a varied place; untouched forests mirrored in thousands of ponds and lakes; quiet wilderness trails; mountains with spectacular views; sparkling streams and long quiet waterways; rich timber producing lands; small communities nestled in deep mountain valleys; and many resorts close to natural wonders. THESE ARE GUIDED TOURS. TRIP DURATION is approx. 4-5 hrs. Reservations made within 30 days of trip departure require full payment. Reservation is confirmed when payment is received. All deposits are nonrefundable. If necessary to re-schedule a trip, the full amount will be applied towards a trip in the next 12 months, provided we are notified 30 or more days prior to the trip departure date. Payment of the remaining balance is due no later than 30 days prior to the trip departure date. Trips will run as scheduled unless Adirondack Connections considers conditions to be unsafe, not just inclement. However, we reserve the right to change the trip itinerary due to weather and other conditions beyond our control. Adirondack Connections would like you to have an enjoyable experience. Environmental conditions are out of our control. In the event of unfavorable conditions, you may contact us and inquire about RE-SCHEDULING. In the unfortunate event that you must cancel your trip, your cancellation fee will be determined as follows: 50% of the trip price will be refunded if trip is canceled at least 30 days prior to the departure date. 25% of the trip price will be refunded if trip is canceled 14 - 29 days prior to the departure date. There is no refund for cancellations less than 14 days prior to the departure date. Please note that we do not make any refunds for any unused portion of your trip, not arriving, arriving late, early returns or aborted trips.
