It was an interesting and beautiful experience to sail around Newport harbor on the yacht Hope San. Captain Patrick and his wife Monika were welcoming, competent, and interesting. My granddaughter and I enjoyed sitting on the bow of the boat, alternately relaxing and getting excited when a wave would spray water on us. Between all the different kinds of boats on the water and buildings on land, the three hours passed very rapidly.

We (4 adults and two seven year-old boys) had a lovely four-hour sail with Patrick and Monika. They were the perfect hosts, sharing both their gorgeous boat and their day with us out on the water. There was plenty of space to relax on-board while Patrick pointed out sights of interest and even stopped along the journey so that the two boys could take a dip in the bay during our sail. Could not have asked for a more perfect Sunday afternoon in Newport!

Once we booked our trip, Patrick always returned our messages quickly, usually within an hour. We were a party of 6 with 4 adults and 2 children. The boat is beautiful. We were free to move around the boat and sit up front. There isn’t a lot of space to fit everyone in the back, but with a couple people in the front, it’s perfect. Patrick was knowledgeable about the mansions and area. Overall we had a great sail!
