2 | Core rental terms & house rules Launch fee of 75$ will be added to the cost of rental. If launching on a weekend you must be there at 9am so we can guarantee you a spot on Chatfield lake. Spots fill up quickly there! Eligibility Minimum age & ID - Primary operator 25 + with valid U.S. driver’s license. (14-15 yr-olds may drive only if they show a CPW Boating-Safety Card.) Operating area - Boat must remain on Chatfield Reservoir—NO trailering or beaching on gravel bars. Capacity & use Max persons - 6 passengers OR 1 150 lbs combined weight, per USCG plate. Tow sports - Towing allowed only when tube or wakeboard add-on is booked; no tow ropes after sunset. Fuel & cleaning Fuel return - Boat leaves full. Customer must pay for gas. Cleaning - If upholstery comes back muddy, sandy, or sticky, a $75 detailing fee applies. Safety & conduct Alcohol - Passengers may consume; operator must remain < 0.08 BAC by Colorado law. Prohibited - No pets, glass bottles, red liquids, smoking, or fireworks aboard. Timing Check-in/out - Rental clock starts at booked time; late arrivals shorten your session. Late return - $50 per 30 min after grace period (15 min). Weather Weather guarantee - If the lake is closed or winds exceed 25 mph at the ramp at departure, reschedule or full refund. If weather turns after departure, no refund but we’ll help haul out early. Damage & claims Deposit rules - Up to $600 may be held/charged for prop, gel-coat, interior, or gear damage discovered ≤ 48 h after rental. Photos and receipts provided with any claim. Cancellations Owner-friendly moderate - 100 % refund ≥ 3 days out; 50 % refund 1-2 days; no refund < 24 h
