50 ft Sail Yacht with Young & Fun Crew :)

Whether your looking for adventure or relaxation, we‘ll treat you to an Newport nautical experience you’ll never forget.  She is a impressive yacht with a classic look and modern amenities. There’s lots of cozy spots for you and your group to lounge including beanbags and a love seat way up on the bow, or back in the cockpit.  Inside she’s very spacious with an open floor plan, 6'6" headroom, two bathrooms (heads), hot outdoor shower for after a swim, dining table, refrigerators, a huge v-birth (inside bow area) with wrap around couch, a full kitchen and a BBQ area. She's Designed by world famous yacht designer John G Alden and built by America’s oldest yacht builders, Hodgdon Brothers of Boothbay Maine. Every sail is different and every guest is different. We can sail aggressively and fast or keep it mellow and even-keeled. You can BYOB & Food or let us wow you with options like local oysters & clams shucked while we sail, charcuterie boards, and lobster rolls.  We can serve Champagne, Rosé or your favorite cocktails. Want us to have a birthday cake or flowers ready to surprise someone? Just ask. (So far we have a 100% batting average for proposals….on Calypso she always says YES!) We’re here to share the place we love with others and create unforgettable experiences.    After a safety briefing and an overview of how a sailboat works, it’s time to leave the mooring and cruise around downtown harbor to see all the mega yachts! Any guests who want to help sail the boat, now’s the time to learn to hoist the sails! Off we‘ll sail under the Newport Bridge, past The Rose Island Light House, past Clingstone (the house on the rocks), Fort Adam’s, Goat Island, Fort Witherill, Castle Hill, and into Rhode Island Sound where you‘ll really start to feel the wind blow! Depending on how long your group has chosen to stay on the water, we can either find a cove to anchor and swim, paddle board, snorkel, and eat and drink some more or we can start heading back towards downtown newport with the wind at our backs.  Once back on the mooring we’ll say our good-byes and take a moment for some last minute photos before one of our crew will shuttle you back to the marina on The Pineapple Express.
