****BOAT HAS BEEN TRADED IN ON A NEW ONE / WE ARE NOT TAKING RESERVATIONS UNTIL APRIL**** You haven't seen Gig Harbor until you've seen it by boat!!!  Join us aboard our beautiful brand new 2020 Bayliner Element XR7!  This is a professional touring boat that is completely enclosed for comfort from the elements but easily opened up to enjoy the beautiful weather.  It's fast and stable!  On our tours you could see:  harbor seals (in their natural habitat), minke whales, harbor porpoises, sea otters, sea lions, bald eagles, great blue herons, and on rare occasions we have even enjoyed seeing humpback whales, orca whales, and even a bottle nosed dolphin! Our boat seats 6 passengers VERY luxuriously and offers full 360° views!  (It's actually rated for 16 people, but per USCG regulations relating to charter boat operations, we're limited to 6 passengers.)  Popular Charters: Wedding engagements, waterfront real estate sales / viewings, senior pictures, etc!  We also do wonderful "Scattering of the Ashes" ceremonies for an additional charge of $190+tax (paid separately post-cruise).  Contact us so we can work out the details and make it personalized and special!   We are a CAPTAIN ONLY boat.  You never share our boat with strangers and the boat is disinfected between tours.  Prices are per charter, not per person!  Listed tour prices include taxes.  All our tours include a licensed Captain / Tour Guide.  Guided Tours:  AMAZING GIG HARBOR:  1 hrs A delightful guided tour of picturesque Gig Harbor filled with entertaining, local history! After passing the lighthouse we head out of the bay, cruising past the old ferry landing and historic Indian Beach areas. From there we speed across the channel to visit Point Defiance….the perfect location for spotting seals, eagles and occasionally whales! NOSTALGIC SALMON BEACH:  2 hrs All of the above tour plus more! After heading out of the harbor, we pick up speed and cruise out towards the Tacoma Narrows bridges, stopping just past historic Salmon Beach.  This is a perfect photo opportunity with the bridges in the background! We serve our "signature" chocolate chip cookies and sparkling cider as you sit back and enjoy learning about this fascinating community.  We then cruise along beautiful Pt. Defiance where Bald Eagles are often spotted, as well as harbor seals playing in their natural habitat near the point. GALLOPING GERTIE & BEYOND:  3 hrs Get everything in the previous two tours PLUS an an up-close look at the Tacoma Narrows Bridges and beyond!  At the famous bridges, we stop underneath to learn about their fascinating history. We then cruise further out to Pt. Fosdick to see the famous Wurlitzer Mansion and, if we’re lucky, porpoises too. Then we head back along Tacoma’s waterfront where we experience Salmon Beach and stop to see the amazing wildlife along Pt. Defiance. We then spend plenty of time touring and learning about our amazing Gig Harbor. THE WHOLE GIG!:  4 hrs This is the tour if you want it all!!! It includes everything offered in the above tours PLUS a whole lot more!  Have fun on a high-speed cruise under the bridges, around Pt. Fosdick and then into Wollochet Bay.  Then we slow things down a bit and cruise while enjoying chocolate chip cookies and sparkling cider.  We circle quaint Tanglewood Island, see the Fox Island area, and then check out Toliva Shoal to learn about its tie to the area.  Chambers Bay is next, and then back under the Tacoma Narrows bridges to take in the Galloping Gertie, Salmon Beach, and Gig Harbor tours!  LOT’s to see and experience….with a ton of opportunity to enjoy our amazing marine life and beautiful local area!   Custom Tours/Charters: Where would you like to go???  Tacoma's Foss waterway?  Poulsbo?  Olympia?  Seattle's Elliot Bay (where Captain Tony used to patrol via police boat!)?  Our voyages depart from Gig Harbor.  Contact us and get a quote!
