I rented this boat for my 30th birthday. Ended up having 14 of us and it was so much fun! We departed a little late due to the amount of traffic trying to get into granville island but we stayed out a little extra to make up for it. We didn’t get to go out to the open water because the wind was crazy and the water was too rough, but cruising around science world was still nice and the sun was shining! We all had a great time. What an absolute riot! Our crew had organized a bachelor party boat trip with Blade, and he was so kind and accommodating. When the weather was looking a little rough, Blade was flexible with the departure time so we could capture the sunshine and enjoy the full experience of the yacht. And this is a tremendous vessel! A historic wooden boat with a tonne of charm and character, which made for a unique and memorable day. Thanks so much Blade! We'll be back.

Paul is personable while also extremely professional. He is obviously very familiar with his boat and we felt very safe during our entire trip. He’s super adept at spotting whale blows and spotting wildlife in general, which allowed us to spot an entire orca family. Amazing experience overall, and I would especially recommend Paul if you’re looking to learn how to sail!

Mark and his team were fantastic from start to finish. Communication was great and he was so helpful with any information that I required. The guests were accommodated with towels when they decided to take a dip in the water and they loved going on the jet ski. It was a wonderful experience and a wonderful way to celebrate my birthday.

Everything worked out great. Frank, the transport guy was very friendly and helpful. Daniel (I think that was his name) was also friendly and helpful, even when a couple of our requests were a little confusing. The time frame for using the boat was very flexible. Will use again when we return

We rented out of Seward before our cruise. Rental and communication were seamless and effortless. Boat was well equipped and maintained. We weren’t going to fish, but dropped a line as an after thought. Caught a Pacific Cod! We highly recommend Ryan and his boats to anyone seeking a day of self-guided adventure. Our trip was amazing!!
