2021 Robalo CC Offering Boat Excursions on Lake Michigan from downtown Chi to the beaches at Hammond Indiana. Several options & locations to choose from. I offer a variety of boat trips geared to the customers preference. Some enjoy the beautiful city skyline while anchoring at the Playpen Or Monroe harbor. Others prefer to be in shallow water near the beach. A scenic lakefront cruise morning afternoon or night. A beautiful Fireworks display at Navy Pier every Wed & Sat evening. Boat is ready for a fun filled outing with friends or family & is kid friendly. I specialize in smaller group outings. A boat day with friends, proposing to a girlfriend, getting some amazing pics of Chicago from the water. I can legally take up to 6 passengers total , but it’s more comfortable with 5 or less , especially if nobody is going in the water. I have a very nice sound system w Bluetooth & USB port for flashdrives. A large SunChill raft is included & other floats will be provided at no cost. This is a perfect set up for floating with friends/famiky on this beautiful lake. Also included USCG licensed captain with over 20 years experience on the Great Lakes & Fl gulf. Please bring comfortable shoes, towel, sunglasses, phone charger sunscreen, soft zipper style cooler. etc. I have a large cooler onboard with ice & plenty of space for beverages & snacks but preferably No glass. No need to bring any plastic coolers or coolers on wheels because it will take up too much space The zipper type cooler bag is preferred.. Pricing: Mon-Thurs $175. hour & Fri-Sun $200- 225. an Hr & A 2 Hour Minimum Holiday weekends & special events: pricing may vary.. For the bigger events I can no longer do tie ups with other boats. If you would like to hire me specifically for any of the special events I will need to know ahead of time. This way we can go over everything before booking & there’s no confusion. I am always concerned about the safety of my passengers. Marine weather can be unpredictable at times. Trips may be canceled due to unsafe conditions, high wind or waves. Safety is top priority. Rates above include USCG licensed captain always provided. This boat is only captained by myself or 1 of my colleagues. Also VERY IMPORTANT please be early for the charter. Allow enough time for parkjng or the uber with traffic etc. try to be 15-20 mins early at least to get everyone on the boat & organized. There will be a brief safety meeting before heading out. I’m a USCG licensed master captain with over 20 years of experience navigating the Great Lakes and Florida Gulf. Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, I feel right at home on Lake Michigan. I spend a lot of time in Florida which keeps me on the water year-round. I founded Outboard Excursions to share my boating/fishing passion with you.Join me for a fun filled day on the lake or a rewarding fishing adventure. This fall and winter, I’m offering perch and lake trout charters on Lake Michigan, and come spring, I'll be running walleye charters on Lake Erie in Port Clinton, Ohio. Additional Terms & Information
- Marine weather forecast is not always accurate. I do my best to follow it before a trip & may have to cancel due to high winds waves lightning etc. It’s unpredictable at times but I try to give a few hours notice before canceling. Safety is a top priority for me. If you need to cancel a trip I need at least 2 days prior. If there’s a chance to reschedule for another day I will try but no guarantee. I am able to take 6 passengers total but it is more comfortable with 5 or less in the boat, especially if nobody is swimming /floating. I have plenty of cooler space with ice provided for all your beverages & snacks. I would prefer no glass if possible. I try to keep my charters non smoking but that can be discussed later. I provide a large Sunchill float for everyone plus individual floats. For late parties to a trip, there is nothing I can do to change your set time last minute, it can throw the entire day off. I understand things come up but I may have another trip booked after yours I can’t give a refund or extend the trip if you’re late & im waiting for you or don’t show. I hope you understand I ask everyone to try & get there early so there’s no rush Once out on the water there are days I can stay out longer if requested. Lastly I ask that everyone show up for a trip with me sober. I want everyone to have a great time but also be safe. It’s a huge responsibility for me out on the water with passengers. I can’t take anyone out if it’s putting me or anyone else ar risk Thank you for your interest Captain Bill😎
