Expedition Charters Cruises

Base camp for mountaineers, divers, surfers, kiters or film makers. A sailing vessel is very often the only means to approach wild life in remote places. It's flexible and versatile.

Offshore Cruising

Sauvage is the perfect sailing yacht to experience an offshore crossing, safe, comfortable and unique. Sauvage takes you to experience the magic of the lifestyle at sea, with the sailing maneuvers, the watches, the beautiful sunrise and sunset at sea, the clear night skys.

Troll fishing, whales encounters, lot of reading, listening to music and the excitement of leaving a land to discover another one a couple of weeks later.

What To Expect Onboard:

Sauvage is a 60 ' uncompromising voyaging yacht designed for charter cruises around the world. Equally at home in a tropical lagoon or a windswept Aleutian island bay, Sauvage 's strong steel construction will carry you safely on your adventure.

Designed by the French designer, Jean Francois Andre, and built in Brazil, Sauvage  is a safe, steel, offshore sailing yacht. The unique centerboard design allows easy access to sheltered shallow anchorages.

Sauvage will take you anywhere in the world with comfortable crossings and sailing so that you can explore remote and wild places.

The interior of Sauvage is visually open and bright. The pilot house allows for plenty of natural lighting. In cold climates the diesel heater keeps it warm and inviting and when in the tropics there is ample hatches to allow the sea breezes to flow through.

Sauvage is can accommodate 6 passengers for charter cruises and 9 passengers for expedition cruises.

There are 3 guest cabins, each with a king size bed and a top bunk to be used for storage or for a 3rd passenger on expeditions. Each cabin has a private bathroom with shower and head.

The saloon is very open and roomy. It is separated down the middle by the centerboard case and has a big teak dining table for 9 on the port side and another teak table for 4 on the starboard side. A diesel heater stove for high Latitudes keeps it a nice warm temperature inside.

The cockpit is wide and well protected from the spray and wind by the pilot house. It has sun protection with a bimini top. There is a big folding table for 9 people for eating outside in the tropics and even sometimes in the cold places. The stern platform, sugar scoop, is very wide and handy to step aboard from the dinghy or for landing the fish caught while sailing on passage.
