Had the best time with Holy City Boat Tours! Went with a group of 7 girls for a bachelorette and everyone had so much fun! Chad and Eric were great and very accommodating! We cruised around and stopped at a couple local bars. We couldn't have asked for better captains or a better experience. As a bonus we had a cute puppy with us and got to see dolphins! 10/10 would recommend!
I’m a Charleston native but live out of state now. Barney was the absolute best. His boat was amazing. The weather was perfect. He picked us up in Shem Creek and road us up and down the Peninsula. A retired navy vet, he was friendly, knew his Charleston history, and I felt like I had known him for years. Will for sure be using him every time I make a trip home to the Holy City.
Captain Wit and First Mate, Christine, provided 3 hours of relaxation, great information, fabulous service and a super playlist. Wit's boat is something that he takes pride in and it shows in every detail. Our merry band of 6 would highly recommend spending a few hours of sailing tranquility with Wit and Christine.
Couldn’t be happier with our experience! Chad and Phil were quick to help us with whatever we needed, whether it was carrying stuff to the boat, answering questions about the area we had, and simply ensuring we had a good time. We booked for 3 hours, and honestly could have continued because we were having so much fun - but it was plenty of time to have fun and experience the water. We loved being able to stop at a bar in Shem Creek! We got to see dolphins and a beautiful sunset! Perfect night!
Captain Barney gave us a very through tour of Charleston Harbor and going up Ashley River, all the way to Charles Towne Landing. We also spent an hour on Morris Island, hunting for shark teeth. We loved seeing all of our favorite Charleston landmarks from the water and listening to Captain Barney’s stories. He is a true mine of information, a great storyteller, and very knowledgeable about the area. He was also very accommodating about where we wanted to go and planned a wonderful itinerary. We already want to go back and explore some more with him!
This boat ride was definitely worth the money! Chad is extremely nice and and very easy to communicate with! The flexibility to bring food and drinks makes for a great time! Also saw a bunch of dolphins! Highly recommend if it’s your first time in Charleston or your fifth!!!
