2021 Daigno Houseboat Rental in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Québec

1.1    Cancellations or requests for refund must be made in writing, sent to the Lessor 1.2    Only in the case of a government restriction (Travel restrictions) can we offer you the displacement of your dates or a 100% refund 1.3    . If there is a cancellation, the 25_% deposit will be retained by the Lessor as damages. 1.4    If the cancellation or request for refund occurs less than 30 days prior to the start date of the stay, the Tenant will be required to pay the full amount of the rental, except the security deposit which will be returned. 1.5    If the cancellation or request for refund is received after the date of arrival, the Lessee must pay the entire rental amount, except for the damage deposit, which will be returned. 1.6    If the stay must be cancelled or interrupted because of unforeseeable problems with the boat(mechanical breakdown,unseaworthy,etc but have not been caused by the lessee due to negligence or otherwise, the cost for the remaining days will be refunded, but there will be no additional penalty payable by the Lessor.   1.7        No animals allowed. 1.8        Smoking is strictly prohibited in the boat. Smoking is permitted outside, but additional cleaning fees may apply, damage fees could apply due to possible scorch marks 1.9        Respect all  nautical and Marina rules 2.0        The Lessee is responsible for material damage occurring in or on the rented building during the rental period, for any reason whatsoever, except for damage resulting from construction defect, lack of maintenance, natural and technological disasters. . The Tenant agrees to keep the Landlord clear and free from any claim presented by anyone resulting from the damage for which he is responsible 2.1        The Lessee is responsible for the actions of any other person on the rental premises. 2.2        The Lessee agrees to respect the rental premises and leave them in the same condition as when they were rented. Furniture and objects for the Lessee’s use must be handled with care and used only for the purposes for which they are intended. 2.3        The Lessee agrees not to use any premises other than those rented and to respect the property of neighbours and other local boaters. 2.4        The Lessee is liable for all damaged furniture or objects, for any damage caused to the rented premises, including the grounds and outdoor facilities. 2.5        The Lessee agrees to abide by reasonable rules of conduct and not to disturb neighbours or other local residents. The Lessee must keep noise to a reasonable level, both inside and outside the unit. Noise must be kept to a minimum after _10:00P.M. 2.6     Any defects noted by the Lessee during the rental period must be reported immediately. 2.7     The number of people authorized to stay in the rental unit, as indicated in this agreement, may not be exceeded at any time. 2.8     Hamac must be removed any time the boat is in motion. No one is to be on the Hamac during navigation. Before leaving, the Lessee must ensure that: 7.1   The dishes are done. 7.2   The garbage is left out in the right place. 7.3   The windows are closed and locked. 7.4   The outside doors are closed and locked. 7.5   The keys are left in the agreed spot.
