    Estimated price
    USD $120 / day

Discover Auckland, New Zealand! Book this Slippery Creek Kayak Trips for as low as $120 per person per day!  We start each trip with a summary of our basic kayaking rules, we give you a map of the river and explain in detail exactly where you are going. For new-paddlers and rusty-paddlers we also give you basic paddling instruction. Then fit you out with a comfortable buoyancy aid, take you to the river, put you into your kayak – set you up and off on your journey down the river! When doing the downriver paddle you will leave from Slippery Creek and head toward Hingaia.  The trip is leisurely and winds through lowland swamp and then estuarine waters.  The final stretch of water under the bridge can be swift and will add excitement to the final part of the journey.  The waters are working waters, and you will see birds busily fishing, and the odd fisherman on the way. Our company set up to take advantage of the kayaking opportunities offered by the upper Manukau Harbour. We are outdoor enthusiasts and have lived on the banks of the Manukau for almost 25 years, and are convinced of the untapped potential of these waters. Why travel away when there is an adventure playground on Auckland's doorstep? The area was a focal point for English military during the settlement of Auckland and has been the home of some of the first industry in New Zealand. The area is rich in history and now supports much bird and fish life It has an ever-changing vista and is an ideal location for a kayaking hire adventure.
