The boat is meticulously maintained. This 22ft long Godfrey Marine Sweetwater built in 2021. Boat comes with 90 hp Yamaha outboard engine. Maximum capacity of 11 passengers (or captain plus 10) Easy to drive. Comfortable. Canvas top. Bluetooth radio. Depth finder and GPS. Great for lounging, sightseeing up to Statue of Liberty (weather permitting), relaxing, swimming, picnic on the open water. Bring food / drinks as you wish but no open flames / BBQ please. No smoking onboard. No pets, no fishing and no towing. Must be 25 years of age to rent with state issued drivers license (If you were born on or after January 1, 1978, you need a boating safety certificate which you can get with an online course). Minimum age is 3 years old and at least 30 lbs. weight, as a passenger (no infants or strollers). Depart and return during daylight hours only and only pick up and drop off at the marina in far Rockaway. Will not pick up elsewhere. Boats must be back by 6pm. IF CAPTAINED, BOAT CAN BE RENTED FOR LATER HOURS. CAPTAIN FEES NOT INCLUDED and most captains charge about $75 -$100 / hour. Boat is in Jamaica Bay opposite JFK Airport. You can travel Westbound towards Manhattan and up to Statue of Liberty. You can swim in various areas along the way. No docking permitted but you can anchor where safe to do so. Plenty of parking inside the marina. Fuel charges = $50 per quarter tank, which will last between 2 - 4 hours, depending on how aggressive you drive the boat. (Security deposit used, if applicable, for damages, late return, fuel charges).
