Charter a 1970 wooden classic yacht for €600 per day from Lisbon. Up to 6 guests. If you love Nature and good restaurants, we suggest a private charter exploring a natural reserve, Arrabida National Park, five sailing hours away from Lisbon. This is the right program for those who like to sleep on the anchor, uncrowded sandy beaches and explore Roman ruins and wildlife. Pure nature. Being turned to South and sheltered by its mountains, Arrabida's quiet and crystalline waters turns the area into an estuarine like nursery. Halcyon I is a 55 feet classic motor sailor, teak on oak, built in 1970, in Lisbon, under a G.L.Watson & Co  plan, powered by two Leyland 6 cylinder engines. €4,200.00 only, for 1 week, all inclusive (bed&Breakfast, 1 meal a day (lunch or dinner), 3 passenger outboard tender, fuel, two crew members, marinas, hotel or airport pick up, activity insurance). If you have any questions, we can answer those through GetMyBoat’s messaging platform before you pay. Just hit, “Request to Book” and send us an inquiry for a custom offer.

Cascais is my hometown. Twenty minutes driving from Lisbon, by the sea, where I spent my childhood and learned to sail. My father wasn't very much of a sailor but loved boats. Bought a fishing boat where painting was a family job and later a 52 feet wooden black ketch, designed by Max Oertz. The boat of my youth. Been sailing all my life. In 2007 I bought an old wooden boat, turned it into a sailing barge and started racing and taking part on traditional boat meetings in the Tagus. Wrote a book on the subject ("Canoas do Tejo" in 2009) In 2010, I brought Halcyon I to Cascais, from the Algarve, and started a one year recovery in a shipyard, in Seixal, and on the anchor. After realizing Cascais wasn't the best place for boat tours, moved Halcyon I to Lisbon and started doing historical boat tours, that are turning into a success, as you can confirm by our reviews on TripAdvisor. Halcyon I is a family's business. Been living on board since 2010 and it's always me, who answers your calls or emails.
