The coral found in the ocean near Tulum is a part of the Mesoamerican Reef, the second largest barrier reef in the world. Here you can see a large variety of Caribbean life, such as turtles, sting rays, lobster, groupers, and nurse sharks. Waters are warm (29°C in the summer, 27°C in the winter), visibility is often around 30 meters, and there is very little current. You cannot ask for better conditions! Ocean diving with us will start at the dive shop, where we will check your certification and then plan a dive based on your abilities. You will try on your gear to make sure everything fits, and then load it up into one of the shop vehicles for a short drive to the beach. Once there, we load everything onto a boat where we can complete one or two dives. The price for ocean diving is $85.00 per two dives. We also offer Cenote Diving. The Yucatan peninsula is made up of limestone, and there are many underwater rivers running through it. In some areas the land has collapsed to create sinkholes, or cenotes. These cenotes all us glimpses of this unique underground world. Thousands of cenotes are found throughout the region, including hundreds around Tulum. Cave divers have been exploring them since the 80's, and continue to this day. Price is $70.00 per 1 Dive and $120.00 for Two Dives.
