Ensure life vests, etc. are safety stowed (not left wet on the seats), boat fenders (bumpers) are attached, AND use the provided docking ropes to moor the boat safely in its slip where it's then retrieved by us. If you've taken advantage of the fantastic muti-day discount for rentals, you're free to stay on the water until dusk and moor at your own dock, if applicable. You'll have the boat in your care from 9am on day 1 until 6pm on the final day. NOTE: We will include a $150.00 fuel charge within your quote, which means that you're not responsible for refueling, prior to returning.
Our boat rental business is a subsidiary of our boat repair business, which is family owned and operated and has been serving our central coast for 30 years. Not only do we live here, but we spend our free time on the lake as well, so we know boating, which is why we screen all renters and refuse to rent to anyone that appears unfit to operate a boat. We provide an orientation to the vessel, as well as the general rules and expectations of the lake and the surrounding communities. Although renters are exempt from needing a California Boaters Card, we consider water safety paramount to a successful vacation on the water, therefore we strongly encourage ALL boaters to get the California Boater Card holders.
You’ll get directions to the departure location when you make a booking.
Full refund up to 15 days prior.

Each vessel lessee is assigned one PFD per person upon checkout. It is the boat owners policy that all children, 12 years of age or under, must always wear a PFD, be it underway, beached, or on the dock. Additionally, they must be worn while walking on the docks. We also feel it is prudent that all adults adopt the same policy. All people must wear life jackets while swimming from the boat. Because PFD’s come in a variety of types and sizes, boat owner advocates that you and your crew follow these important procedures: Try on all PFDs to ensure they fit comfortably snug • Do not attempt to alter your PFD. If it doesn’t fit, let the boat owner know immediately. • Determine the number of children, 12 years and under, and inform the staff. • Everyone must wear a PFD while using water skis, wake boards or other towable devices. Boat owner considers water safety paramount to a successful vacation on the water. Through your conscious effort to prevent accidents and injuries, as well as practicing safe boating procedures, your vacation will be a safe and memorable one. Although (Lessor’s) are exempt from needing a California Boater Card, boat owner advocates the California Boater Card Program which promotes boating safety on our waterways. Boat owner offers a rental discount to valid California Boater Card holders.
