Two hulls and a massive 18' wide. Discover the difference in stability and roominess over a traditional monohull with our oceangoing catamaran. 37 years running charters in San Diego has given us the experience to select the best boat and captains for your sailing adventure. 2026 winner of Travelers Choice Best of the Best experiences in San Diego with over 500 five star reviews. We guarantee a stable ride with plenty of shade, queen beds, running water, fridge, and a large table in the middle of the seating area for food and drinks. Prices: - 3-Hours: $99 per person, 6 person minimum - 6-Hours: $165 per person, 7 person minimum The area in the back of our catamaran is completely protected from sun, and spray. The Tigress prioritizes deck and outdoor space under a massive shaded patio with four padded benches and a large table to set out a spread. Tigress also has a large net on the front of the boat for sunbathing and socializing. Many of our guests find the bow to be their favorite vantage point to take in the sights sailing on San Diego Bay. Having two hulls means there is a huge 18 foot wide space (rather than a narrow pointy section like a traditional sailboat) for your whole party to spread out and watch the sails and the water slip under the hulls. Down below you will find 2 queen staterooms, and a galley (kitchen) with refrigerator and a full bathroom with running water. If you feel like going for a swim we feature dual swim steps with a freshwater shower on the aft deck that can be heated with advance notice. It’s a sailing cruise, and you should enjoy the quiet, peace and magic of the wind moving the boat. My Captains are experienced motivated sailors, and as soon as there is a bit of wind, we will be sailing! Our boats simply don’t roll around like all single hulled boats. Our non-rolling catamaran is especially nice on the ocean. Since our boat is very stable, shaded, and safe, this catamaran allows us to take out every type of person from youngsters to seniors with some physical challenges. We pride ourselves in making everybody feel “at home” on our adventures.

Fantastic sunset cruise. Ryan was amazing, going above and beyond to see that we had the best time on the water. Captain Kaya had great vibes. We can't wait to sail with them again. This was the best sailing experience we've ever had in San Diego. Highly recommend.

We booked this trip on short notice. Ryan was a great communicator and the directions were spot on. Captain Matt was fantastic. The entire family had a great day on the water. I highly recommend.

This was an amazing day. We had so much fun we extended another hour. The boat was clean, comfortable and made for an amazing brunch at sea with family and friends!

We had an amazing time! Ryan was super helpful during booking and Captain Matt was great! Overall great experience, the boat was comfortable and very spacious for the 12 of us to move and socialize.

Growing up on Mission Bay to a sailing family I have spent my whole life on water. I have competitively sailed since 7 years old and am a multiple time pacific coast champion and have raced boats for eight feet to eighty. I find the most enjoyment in sailing catamarans due to their combination of performance and spacious stability when cruising with friends. I love sharing San Diego with visitors and locals in the best possible way: from a sailing catamaran. I look forward to having you out for a cruise!

We are understanding that when planned in advance the weather doesn't cooperate. It's a rarity in San Diego but in the event of stormy weather you are welcome to call and discuss your plans with us for a refund, reschedule or carry on with the charter with optimism the weather will hold. a forecast of rain during a 24 hour period doesn't mean it will rain during your charter hours and often makes for beautiful sailing conditions and sunsets, please contact us for more complete consideration of weather for your trip. In this case you will have the option to terminate the charter at any point and head straight back to the dock without charge. Booking the captain: For your convenience in the booking process we can recommend one of our experienced captains and handle all arrangements to ensure a seamless booking process. In addition to the bareboat rental the captain hired will be $150 per 3 hour charter or $300 per 6 hour charter. The boat is suitable for 0-90. We have childrens life jackets onboard and are happy to lend them. You are welcome to bring any food or drinks, just no red wine please it stains our boat!
