In this tour you will learn more about the wildlife near Faro and have the chance to watch cetaceans in their natural environment. The tour runs only with small groups (max 8 participants). We follow strict rules towards approaching wild animals • Educational: As marine biologists, we try to give an educational approach to dolphin watching • Exclusive: We work only with small groups - maximum 8 participants - creating unique and dedicated experiences Tour Details: • Duration(2h30): Total time may change depending on how fast we can spot cetaceans. • Departure: Daily departures from Faro at 8:30AM (Alternative departures at 11:30 and before sunset - not available daily, contact us for more info). Departure from Olhão with a minimum of 4 participants. • Participants: The tour runs with a minimum of 2 adults and a maximum of 8 people. Itinerary: Before departure, participants will have a briefing on board regarding the activity and its rules. The boat will cruise throughout Ria Formosa Natural Park into the Atlantic Ocean. Our team of Marine Biologists will be focused on finding dolphins and other marine life as soon as we are out in the ocean. We often spot common dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, sharks and many marine birds species (and sometimes whales!). During this activity, the biologists will be gathering valuable scientific data for research while providing an educative approach to the participants.
