SD Expeditions uses all means necessary to provide you with a successful encounter. We are constantly monitoring weather conditions and keeping in touch with boat captains and experts to remain informed about current shark diving conditions. When we arrive at the offshore location, we will begin to chum the water. Since these are pelagic sharks our chum slick can extend from 3 to 6 miles long increasing opportunities for the sharks to pick up the scent of the chum slick leading them to the boat. We will have an opportunity to view the sharks and their behavior from the boat and then enter the water for a safe cageless shark encounter.
