Enjoy Wakeboarding in North Devon, England! Wakeboarding is similar to skateboarding and snowboarding, accept your feet are strapped in and it is on water. Also, you hold onto a handle so that an overhead cable can pull you along. The Milky Way Lake: 300m long and 100m wide, with our cable system 2.0 which has two towers, one set up at each end of the stretch of water being used. An overhead cable is strung between the towers and a quiet electric motor drives the cable back and forth. A rope with a handle is held by the wakeboarder, and they are pulled along the surface of the water, to the other side of the lake and back again. If the rider falls off, the cable stops and picks the rider up out of the water again. The Obstacles: An important part of the park are its obstacles which float under the cable. A little like ramps and rails in a skateboard park. Once you have mastered the basics, you can progress over these obstacles. North Devon Wake Park has 8 obstacles for all different levels of riders. The two cables have different obstacles according to ability. The Blue Park is the easier of the two, whilst The Black Park is for more experienced riders.  The Kit: We provide everything you need in your session. The price you pay includes the CWB wakeboard, helmet and buoyancy aid.  The Instructors: All our instructors are fully qualified , and hold a BWSW Operators and Instructors Licence. Some of our staff are also BWSW waterski and wakeboard coaches . All staff hold a valid first aid certificate and are DBS checked. We are a family run business that holds safety, good instruction and good value paramount. We also want this experience to be all about fun! The beauty of the System 2.0 is that it gives us the opportunity to give one on one coaching, every time. Prices : - Adult: £25 GBP for 15 minutes  - Child: £20 GBP for 15 minutes Prices include wakeboard, buoyancy aid and helmet. • Learn to board: This is an introductory lesson which includes a dry land session and two fifteen minute sets on the water, giving you plenty of time to get to grips with your new chosen sport! Prices: - Adult: £45 GBP include kit hire  - Child: £35 GBP • Pay and Ride: For both beginners and experienced boarders alike, this session allows you to do exactly what it says on the tin! Our coaches will still be there to give plenty of instruction. Prices: - Adult: £25 GBP include kit hire.  - Child: £20 GBP • Day Passes: For those who have travelled and made a special trip, or if you just want to hang out for the day. This pass gives you three sets during the day. Any extra sets booked are £11 GBP each. Prices: - Adult: £55 GBP include wetsuit hire - Child: £40 GBP  • Buying in bulk: For perhaps the holiday maker or not so frequent riders, we offer a discounted set of rides if you buy packages upfront.
