The weather in London is mild year-round, with few days of extreme temperatures. It can be very rainy in the winter and springtime, with many foggy days. The best time of year to visit London is in the summertime when there are more clear days of sunshine and warm weather. The summertime is the festival season when people take to the outdoor green spaces to enjoy concerts and live entertainment. The summer is also the most expensive time to visit, but it’s worth it for the warmer days and longer daylight hours. In winter, the sun sets very early. September and October are a good choice for travelers looking to avoid the crowds and high prices but still have a good chance for decent weather.
It’s worth it to check out a calendar of events before planning your trip to London. Various festivals take place all throughout the summer. Major events like Wimbledon, Notting Hill Carnival, and Pride London draw huge crowds, raising prices on accommodation. In the winter, the beautiful decorations and holiday spirit that lights up the city makes it a magical destination to visit before Christmas.
I wanted to organise something for my husband's 50th later in August but then we decided to go sooner, impromptu, as the weather in London is simply calling for a boat trip! Crew and Captain were very friendly and professional, yet at a distance as one expects from a 5-star service on a yacht. As an extra we had an amazing meal prepared from scratch on board by one of Gaucho restaurants top Chefs - very nice day which turned into a magical evening!
This is a terrific charter. A perfect boat for sightseeing (I'd say 5 is about the max unless you have kids) and a well trained, very professional crew to ensure you have an amazing time on the water. Highly recommend!
Great thing to do in London!! Especially in a pandemic or if you want privacy and space from people but want to see things...
Booked and paid last minute! What an unexpected beautiful experience - thank you Captain!
