Tailored Surf Lessons in England

We offers private and exclusive surf lessons in fantastic surfing locations. The Surf Club is run by Nick Tiscoe with 20 years surfing, 9 years coaching and lots of competitive surfing experience. We offer lessons to all but specialise in families. Surf lesson times are at 10am, 12.30pm and 3.30pm with some flexibility. Tailored surf lessons Surf lessons are tailored to your requirements although the following is what you might expect to achieve/learn in a 3-lesson course: Lesson 1 : Introduction to surfing, the local beach, equipment and the waves, hopefully resulting in you standing by the end of the session. Lesson 2 : Reinforcing techniques learnt in 1st lesson and building on consistency and control. Introduction to paddling and gaining awareness around you in the ocean. Lesson 3 : Building further on previous lessons techniques and hopefully introducing any of the following: turning, green wave or angled take off’s, paddling out the back, faster takeoff. Group Lessons We offer small group lessons for those that want to learn the basics without all the attention on them all the time, this means our instructor works around a group of around 8 people helping them where they need it and allowing you time to practice without any pressure. Equipment We can provide wetsuits and surfboards if required. We are also able to offer other services including surf hire, private lifeguarding, bodyboard lessons, personal training, surfing surfaris and more. Rates: Surf/bodyboard lessons 1:1 lesson = GBP 81 Group Lessons 1 lesson = GBP 32 Private family lesson = GBP 32 per person for 3 people or more. Terms and conditions All bookings require cancellation notice of at least 24 hours notice to avoid a 50% charge, some bookings will require a deposit to secure. Minimum age for surf lessons is 6 years old, for younger participants in surfing or bodyboarding you can hire us as a private lifeguard.
