Deluxe 41ft Yacht to visit the Bays of Huatulco
My family and I had and amazing time on our trip. My fiance and I surprised them with a day out on the yacht. We got to go snorkeling, and stopped at a great restaurant in one of the bays for lunch. I have to give so much credit to our guide Eli though. He was amazing. Super knowledgeable, engaging, and funny. He spoke perfect English, and really made us feel taken care of. Honestly He made the trip. If you are ever in Huatulco you must look up The Elena, and get Eli as your guide. You will be so glad you did. I can't say enough how much we enjoyed our day. Thank you guys all so much đđœ

Deluxe 41ft Yacht to visit the Bays of Huatulco
First off, this was overall a great experience. We had 3 couples and chartered the yacht for a day to celebrate my birthday. We visited some beautiful beaches, snorkeling areas, and had a great time with the captain (Antonio) and crew (Mo). There were however a few things we didnât love. First, this is not the owner of the boat that you book through. Luis was great, helpful, communicated well, but he is a tour sales guy. He is selling a tour on someone elseâs vessel. I had just assumed it was Luisâ boat since itâs on getmyboat.com, but Iâm a newbie. Maybe this is usually how it works. Just felt a little like a bait and switch. We had some additional catering on our trip which was also organized by Luis and his wife, which was awesome, kind of expensive for what we got, but very good quality. As far as the boat, the pics make it look nicer than it is. Itâs older. It has shag carpet inside. Bathrooms were kinda sketchy. No toilet seat in one. Inside just felt old and not super clean. Outside had some loose rails and fine cracking in the fiberglass but that stuff was easy to get past once you get going. The biggest complaint Iâd have is this: I chartered a yacht. My understanding is that when you charter a yacht essentially that boat is yours for the allotted time. We were required to wear life jackets while snorkeling. If we had walked to the beach we wouldnât have to, but if I pay $1250 I do? Kinda ridiculous. I almost made a scene. It was embarrassing for me in front of my friends, but I went along. That should be changed. They can tell you to wear life jackets with a wink for liability, but it should be up to the person paying all the money. The other big one was dinner. We were told we had to eat at a certain restaurant because it was owned by the owner of the boat. Again, ridiculous. I paid a lot and I will eat dinner where I want to eat dinner. I did make a scene on this one. I told our crew we would eat where we want to eat. We ended up having most of the catering not too long before dinner so no one was really hungry. So we did go to the ownerâs restaurant and just a few small items. The service was outstanding. The young girl that served us was excellent. Food was ok. Prices were too high. Dogs were hilarious and fun. If the owner sees this review he should change a few things. Donât tell your customers what theyâre going to do. Ask them what they want to do. Itâs their boat for the day. Offer your restaurant, but donât require it. As far as the crew, Antonio is a phenomenal Captain. It was a pretty rough day on the water. He knew what he was doing out there. Mo took good care of us, even my crazy wife that thought weâre always on the verge of sinking to the bottom of the ocean. Overall it was fun and we had a great time. Would I do it again? If I did Iâd ask some questions and make sure my expectations are going to be fully met. This was my first yacht charter and I didnât know what questions to ask. Now I do.
