Sec. 86B.306 MN Statutes - How do I get a Minnesota Watercraft Operators Permit? - Option 1: 180 day temporary permit - Option 2: Permanent / Lifetime Minnesota permit - https://boattests101.com/united-states/minnesota - Please note that these legislative changes are confusing: a very similar boating law passed at the same time which requires a watercraft operator's permit based on age, phase-in time until 2028, to ensure every boater born after July 1, 1987 to operate their own / private watercraft.
