If you want to experience lake life not far from Los Angeles, head to Lake Elsinore and rent a boat. This lake is the largest natural reservoir in Southern California and is host to great boating and watersports opportunities. The most popular boat rental on Lake Elsinore is pontoon boat rentals, which give you the ability to cruise at your leisure with friends or family, stopping for a swim to cool off. Cruise to Lakepoint Park or Elm Grove Beach on your pontoon and come on shore for a picnic and use the BBQ grills in this lovely park. You can also enjoy fishing off your boat rental - bring your own gear or see if the owner has fishing equipment they can include in the rental.
Lake Elsinore is also your best bet for trying watersports like wakeboarding and waterskiing close to LA. Enjoy these activities on the calm lake surface, surrounded by gorgeous trees around the perimeter of the lake. Ski boats or speedboats are the best options to rent for enjoying watersports. Wakesurfing, kneeboarding, or tubing are great to keep kids and teens happy on a boat rental on Lake Elsinore, and you can include the equipment in the cost of your rental if you organize it with the captain or owner before confirming and paying.
Only want to get on the lake for a few hours or need to fulfill an adrenaline rush? Rent a jetski and fly through the waves at high speed. SeaDoo rentals on Lake Elsinore are a great option for a quick visit or exciting adventure exploring the beaches around the lake.
Lake Elsinore is a great place to go swimming. You can swim at the public beaches at Elm Grove or Lakepoint Park, or you can jump right off a boat if you rent a boat at Lake Elsinore. Just make sure to the boat has a swim ladder before confirming your rental reservation if you plan to swim, and bring towels onboard.
There are lots of fish you can catch if you cast a line off a boat or the shore into Lake Elsinore. It’s a warm water fishery, with fish like Largemouth Bass, White Crappie, Black Crappie, Bluegill, and Channel Catfish swimming about. If you want to go fishing at Lake Elsinore, bring your fishing gear on your boat rental or ask if the boat owner or captain has some that they can include for you.
Very cool experience. My family and I enjoyed it very much. Host was very helpful throughout the entire trip. Ty.
It was a pleasure working with Jason! He is honest, kind and all around very professional! He gave us a breakdown of everything we needed to know, showed us how to use the jet skis, and even launched/picked up the skis for us! I will definitely be working with Jason again in the future! He is legit and you need to book him!
Had a great time learning for the first time! I was really glad that I made the trip out there. Three of us have never done wakeboarding and all on the same boat lol ;) My arms are completely sore and beat ! It was so much fun and a great learning experience. Can’t wait do it again soon!
Ryan was fantastic! Couldn’t ask for a better captain whether it’s your first time or you know what your doing. I would highly recommend Ryan if you want to go skiing, wakeboarding or Kneeboard. He has everything! Also the lake is great too flat water and barely any traffic!
Absolutely exceptional. Loved every second of it. Ty for the experience.
We were a mixed crew of know-how's and know-nothings .. 3 moms and 4 kids. We ALL had a blast and Ryan was great at navigating the waters and the waterskiiers. Can wait for our next trip! Thank you for these special memories!
