About Anacortes, WA

Anacortes, Washington is a beautiful, small waterfront city in Skagit County, Northwest Washington. A perfect getaway in itself before reaching the San Juan Islands, one part of Anacortes is also located on an island, known as Fidalgo Island. Anacortes offers island living at its best, but with the convenience of being able to drive on to the island! One bridge links the Fidalgo Island to the mainland, while another links it to Whidbey Island. Anacortes has two ferry terminals – a very quaint one that takes you to nearby Guemes Island, and the large terminal which has ferries traveling to the San Juan Islands and the Gulf and Vancouver Islands of Canada. Sunsets, a gorgeous harbor, fresh seafood restaurants, whale watching, sailboats and harbor seals are some of the gems that Anacortes offers.

The placid waters are rimmed by lush forests giving way to rural farmland. In the middle of it all is a vibrant and friendly downtown, with a variety of art galleries, a popular farmer's market, a library, and cafes. Deception Pass State Park features both marine and freshwater shoreline, forest trails, rugged cliffs, and breathtaking views. Sailing Trips out of La Conner, Washington

The location, sailboat, incredible captain made this trip phenomenal. We made up our own itinerary based on what we needed and the captain ensued that was part of the itinerary. Prior to the trip, the captain promptly answered all our questions, and while sailing was easy going and extremely knowledgeable. Our group had never sailed, however TK (the captain) provided clear guidance and direction completely erasing this concern. We had an incredible time out on the water, sailing for the very first time. Would very much do it again, and know I will rate everyone in the further against the captain (TK). He had great communication, conversation was incredible, and better yet he made you feel comfortable on the boat.

We has a perfect day on the water to celebrate my mom's life with close family. Captain was so accomodating and made sure we got our full time in even though we had to delay our departure due to one party arriving late. Terje was flexible and respectful of our wishes and made the trip so easy. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute and highly recommend chatering with Terje. Will definitely sail with him again!

55’ Power Yacht for overnight excursions on Puget Sound!

This review is 3 years late but I remember our experience like it was yesterday! This experience was outstanding! The captain made everything great! We booked this during the time of the pandemic where there were lots of limitations with many people being on the boat. He explained the rules, he was very considerate and he even let us stay on the boat an hour longer. It was for my friend’s birthday and was well worth it! Thank you again! Don’t hesitate to book!

We enjoyed a wonderful evening on Dave's boat -- the captain was wonderful and boat clean and spacious. We set sail from Fisherman's Terminal and enjoyed lovely music on the open deck, food and drinks. I had 15 guests and they all enjoyed every minute on the boat. The captain was very friendly and answered all our questions patiently! I will definitely rent a boat from Dave again for my next event!

Captain Ron does not control the weather. So when we say we had a PERFECT DAY with him, we laugh to think how nice the weather was. Ron is such a cool guy. He is super mellow, but a great conversationalist. He taught us a lot about sailing and the local archipeligo. Can't recommend him enough.
