Thank you for renting my boat! To make sure you get the most out of your time on the water, and to satisfy our insurance requirements, renters must complete the following before the rental: 1. Texas boater education: anyone born on or after September 1, 1993 who will operate the boat needs a Texas Parks and Wildlife approved boater education card. The online course is quick and easy to complete. 2. Rental waiver: every adult in your group signs our liability waiver electronically before the trip. The signing link comes with your booking confirmation. 3. A copy of a valid driver's license for the operator. Before your rental begins, the renter and owner walk through a quick inspection of the watercraft together and sign off on its condition. We meet at Copperas Branch Park in Highland Village. Follow the signs to the boat ramp once you are through the gate and we will meet you at the courtesy dock. Please arrive 15 minutes early for the inspection and a brief introduction to the boat. If you are late, we cannot always extend your booking since the boat may be reserved after your time slot. Please pick up any trash and wipe down heavy dirt or mud with the provided cleaning supplies. Normal wear from a day on the lake is expected, but excessive mess may result in a cleaning fee of up to $100.
