Frequently Asked Questions:

• Do we get wet?

  • No. All take off and landings are done from the back of our world. At your request you may have your legs touched down into the water.

• What do we need to wear?

  • You may wear whatever you are most comfortable in. Take into consideration that it does get cooler on the water versus being on land. Obviously, if it is in your interest to get wet, a bathing suit is recommended.

• How long are we out for?

  • Each ride lasts approximately 10 minutes in the air and the entire duration of the trip lasts up to one hour and 15 minutes. Passengers take turn as others observe. We carry up to 12 passengers on board per trip.

• Can we fly together?

  • We offer single, tandem and triple flights. It is based on a combined weight depending on the wind conditions at the time. The weight range is between 60 and 250 kilos. The wind is very changeable in the Bay of Islands therefore we cannot guarantee weights until the time of flights.

• Is it safe? How do we know these guys know what they're doing?

  • The team has 20 years experience in the industry. All skippers and crew go through an extensive and thorough training process. We are fully certified, insured and one of the founding members of the New Zealand Parasail Association (NZPA).

• Can we bring our camera?

  • Yes! You are more than welcome to bring your own cameras.

  • Life jackets/required safety gear
