Bring a 'yak to a local lake, try your luck "drowning a worm", work in a vigorous paddle for your evening "cardio" or just enjoy the glassy stillness as you glide effortlessly through the water to your favorite berry patch or "chill out" spot. Throw in with your pals and spend a few days camping on a beach in Steamboat Slough, or bring one along next time you're fishing on the Kisaralik or Kwethluk rivers. Kwethluk River Junkets Designed especially for you and 3 of your friends, choose The Jaunt or The Excursion. And, no matter which, you'll spend your cutwater exploit fishing, viewing wildlife, camping, hiking, cooking and best of all kayaking through winding, untainted Alaska backwater. Plunk down at the water's edge and take in a tundra hike, maybe witness a caribou herd roaming along the skyline, or as likely as not, spy a moose or possibly a musk ox making the most of their indigenous habitat. Anglers, pull out your fishing tackle; fly or lure, rainbows, Dollies and grayling are no strangers to these year 'round water holes! And, this time of the year the odds are favorable you'll latch on to a spirited wild salmon heading for it's spawning ground. Catch and release or, cook it, fresh caught, right over your campfire or fry some up in your morning egg scramble. Break out your minimalist backpacking expertise, this is low impact camping with “3 hots and a cot” but, no lodge for your overnight kick back! Our company is a kayak and canoe rental business located in Bethel, Alaska. In operation since May of 2013, last season we expanded into unguided 3, 6 and 10 day river trips. The business is operated by Barbara and Kirk. We utilizes quality recreational kayaks and durable sporting canoes excellent for exploring the backwater of the Kuskokwim River Delta and well suited for fishing, birding, viewing wild life or berry picking, and sturdy enough for trips ranging from a weekend ‘Stay-cation’ to our Premier 10 day River Expedition.
