Boat Safari Tour On Šolta Island

Šolta island is located in Central Dalmatia, not far away from Kaštela, and west from Brač island. The most beautiful bay on Šolta island is Maslenica bay. In front of the bay, there is seven small and beautiful islands. This island was populated even in prehistoric times. Main thing people do on the island is fishing, agriculture and tourism. Symbol of the island is Čuvita- autohtone owl, and they are a sight to see. Even emperor Diokletian built a hut in Nečujam bay, and used it as a private fishing place. The remains are still in the sea... The Boat Safari Tour Meeting point: Near the entrance to Marina Kaštela. GPS: 43°32'48.5"N 16°24'09.3"E Start: 09:00 o'clock. Plan of the trip: We start from a small harbor next to Marina Kaštela and take you to the last point on Šolta island, looking toward Brač island. We are there in around one hour. From there we take you on the soouth side of Šolta island to visit most beautiful bays on Šolta, called Likve, Stračinska and Vela luka. Break in every of the bays is around 45 minutes. In Vela luka we stop and have lunch and from there we re heading back to Kaštela. This takes us around 1:30 hours. What to bring: Water, sun cream, swimsuit, and good vibes :) Activity duration: 6 -7 hours. Fitness level: Minimum fitness level is required. Price: 40€ (300 kn) per person. Transfer: Depends on location. Staff: All of our professional guides are registered at Croatian mountain rescue service. Staff members speak Croatian and English.
