Description ABOUT S/Y “Marinas“ “Marinas” is solid and spacious Bavaria 46 Cruiser built in 2008. She has 4 cabins and 2 heads but will only be able to offer 3 double bed cabins where up to 6 guests can be comfortably accommodated. Forth, bunk bed cabin, is used by skipper. Please note that Marinas can only be chartered with skipper but thanks to that it can also be chartered for a short stay like a day or even half a day cruise. Marinas is under constant refit since joining our fleet in 2021. She now has new fridges, solar panels, sails, bimini, sprayhood, bedclothes, floorboards, dingy… Considering years spent in charter she appears far better than any colleagues of the same age but her experience and miles left behind are, normally, visible. What you can expect is a cozy, comfortable and very safe middle age lady with well-maintained interior and fully equipped for extended cruising. Our base port is Zenta, small marina some 15 min walking distance to the Split city center. Check in – 9 AM Check out – 6 PM PAYMENT and EXPENCESS All the expenses that you can expect before and during your stay are divided into three steps; 1. First part is your ONLINE reservation/booking. Once confirmed, it includes accommodation on Bavaria 46, Marinas, Croatian VAT and agency commission. 2. Second part are obligatory extras*. If you are paying in cash this part can be sorted directly with skipper upon arrival. If you are paying via online transfer this part should be sorted 7 days before arrival. 3. Third part are expenses that depend on your preferences; food and beverage, fuel, port fees, national/nature park entrée ticket etc… *obligatory extras – 1. Skipper – (200 € per day + food) 2. Transit log – (250 eur per booking) - everything needed to prepare the vessel for your stay. Exterior cleaning, cooking gas, outboard engine, fuel for dingy, bed linen, beach towels, bathroom towels, basic kitchen and bathroom necessities, wi-fi, paddle board, snorkeling gear etc. Transit log is the same whether you are staying two days or full week. However, for daily rentals transit log is 150 eur. 3. Sojourn tax – Croatian tourist/visitor tax is 1,60 € per person per day. Children under 12 years are not obliged for tax. INCLUDED IN THE PRICE - accommodation up to 6 pax in 3 cabins - service of a skipper - snorkeling equipment - wi-fi - 2-bathroom towels and 1 beach towel per person - dingy with outboard engine - kitchen and bathroom basics - 1x SUP – paddle bord - noodles, swimming board - bedclothes (not included in day charter) NOT INCLUDED IN CHARTER PRICE - food and beverage - port fee (if any) - fuel (calculated by the engine working hours) - crew gratitude - transfer to and from the boat - national/nature park entrée ticket ITINERARY Itinerary will be created in accordance to your preferences, length of stay and the weather conditions. It is good to have the plan and learn about the area before your arrival, it is always good to ask us for recommendations and suggestions, however do have in mind that the final route will be confirmed by the skipper, after checking the weather forecast on the day of your arrival. There are many logistical details to be taken into account so our skipper will suggest safest and the most comfortable route, planning few days ahead. However, if you want to do extra activities outside of the boat, do let us know ahead of your arrival as restaurants, various tours, berth in port etc … all needs to be reserved in advance. WHAT TO EXPECT ONE Day charter - we are staying within the triangle of Split, Island Brač and Island Šolta. We can visit one of the Island villages with swim stop and lunch in the middle of a day. With two-hour navigation both ways there is enough time to choose focus on sailing, swimming, exploring local places…. TWO Day charter - overnight onboard is the minimum to experience the real thing. If you have never tried it, stay on the anchor and enjoy the comfort of your floating home in the middle of beautiful nature. Two-day trip can include several swim stops on various places. Hvar town and Pakleni Islands are is also comfortably reachable within two days. THREE Day charter – it is a big difference between one/two day trip and everything above. Several hours of navigation are needed to clear the area of Split and find yourself in attractive destination. Good part of your first and last day will be navigation to your final destination but in this case you have one full day to use just as you want. Three- and four-days trips are our recommendation as the best discovery sailing experience. Please note that the average daily price is lower the more days you choose to book. CREW Our crew is assembled by local skippers, sailing experts, that have spent most of their lives on boats or around boats. During shoulder season we have rotating crew and during high season our skipper Neve is taking over. Neve has started sailing more than 20 years ago and has been part of Frapa Woman Sailing Team ever since. She is sailing instructor and kinesiology professor. She has vast local knowledge and contacts, she is full of stories, legends and very comfortable person to be with. If you are thinking to learn about sailing there is no one better to be with.
