Kayak Courses The Canoe School of the Indomita Valtellina River offers kayak courses on standard levels: 1st level, beginner: for the novice, self-taught or those who have never practiced the sport of kayaking. The objective of the first-level course is to transfer the rudiments of the technique, create symbiosis between canoe and canoeist and impart the fundamentals of kayaking in flat water. During the final part of the course there will be the first baptism in running water. 2nd level, intermediate: for canoeists who are familiar with 2nd / 3rd grade, but want to perfect the fundamentals both in flat water and in rough water. During the course, particular attention will be devoted to the improvement of the fundamentals (both flat water and loose water) and to the most important self-saving maneuver: the eskimo. 3rd level, advanced: the third level is intended for kayakers who are familiar with the class 3/4, but are looking for the improvement of the techniques and the combination of the same aimed at improving their confidence level, precision and safety paddling in difficult rapids. Intended for both the average self-taught canoeist and second-level course students who want to continue their learning techniques. Which level is right for you? • 1st level: For those who have never gone kayaking or only sporadically by car. • 2nd level: For those familiar with the 2nd / 3rd degree rapids. • 3rd level: for those on the 3rd degree with occasional experiences in class 4. Duration: 10 hours, normally divided into 4 or 5 lessons Course Of Course: the course can be weekly: 5 lessons from Monday to Friday or weekend: divided into 4 lessons. The lesson schedule will be established by mutual agreement with the Indomita secretariat. Changes: The Technical Direction of the Indomita Valtellina River reserves the right to change the course location to guarantee the necessary standards for the scheduled lesson. Eskimo Lesson The eskimo , as well as the maneuver that allows the canoeist to re-establish the equilibrium position after a complete overturning, as well as representing the first precious maneuver of self-rescue is undoubtedly a highly spectacular maneuver. Whether it represents a personal challenge or between friends, or the desire to learn or improve such an important maneuver, the instructor will guide you through gradual and customized exercises to facilitate and speed up the learning of the sensitivity necessary to complete the maneuver. Subsequently, or during the improvement lessons, the instructor will teach you how to have an effective eskimo in every situation, the so-called "eskimo to test of bonba"!
