Rental Terms and Conditions Please read the following Rental Terms and Conditions carefully before making a reservation for our boat rental services. By booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below: Rental Agreement: 1.1. The rental agreement is between the renter (hereinafter referred to as "the Renter") and Unique Comporta (hereinafter referred to as "the Company"). 1.2. The Renter must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid identification document. Rental Period: 2.1. The rental period starts and ends at the agreed upon times specified in the reservation. 2.2. Any extension of the rental period is subject to availability and additional charges. Boat Capacity and Skipper: 3.1. The boat is suitable for a maximum of 10 passengers, including children and infants. 3.2. A qualified skipper will be provided by the Company for the duration of the rental. 3.3. The skipper has full authority and responsibility for the safe operation of the boat. Marina and Operating Area: 4.1. The boat will be stationed and picked up from the Tróia Marina. 4.2. The operating area is restricted to the designated coastal waters as agreed upon with the skipper. Equipment: 5.1. The boat rental includes the use of the boat, paddleboard, diving equipment, and support boat, subject to availability. 5.2. The Renter is responsible for the safe and proper use of the equipment. Booking and Payment: 6.1. Reservations can be made in advance through our website or by contacting our booking office. 6.2. A deposit or full payment may be required to confirm the reservation. 6.3. Accepted payment methods are all except checks. Cancellation and Refunds: 7.1. Cancellations made by the Renter with at least 5 days' notice prior to the rental date will be eligible for a full refund. 7.2. Cancellations made within 2 days of the rental date may result in partial or no refund, at the Company's discretion. 7.3. In case of unfavorable weather or unforeseen circumstances, the Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the rental. A alternative date will be offered. Renter's Responsibilities: 8.1. The Renter agrees to comply with all local laws, regulations, and maritime rules during the rental period. 8.2. The Renter is responsible for any damages caused to the boat, equipment, or third-party property due to negligence or misuse. 8.3. The Renter must return the boat and equipment in the same condition as received, with normal wear and tear expected. Liability: 9.1. The Company holds no liability for personal injuries, loss, or damage to personal property during the rental period. 9.2. The Renter is responsible for obtaining personal insurance coverage for themselves and their belongings. Indemnification: 10.1. The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the Renter's use of the boat or equipment. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: 11.1. These Rental Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal. 11.2. Any disputes arising from the rental agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal
