Salty Cabo Excursions is an authorized whale watching company permitted by the Mexican government, and your tour is led by a professional captain and experienced marine naturalist guide. There is no fixed route—we go where the whales take us. Your crew will search the waters off San José del Cabo for humpback whales while sharing information about their behavior and migration. Depending entirely on nature, you may witness breaches, tail displays, mothers with calves, competitive groups, and other incredible behaviors. Dolphins, Mobula rays, sea turtles, and other marine life may also be encountered. When conditions allow, we’ll lower our hydrophone into the water so you can listen for humpback whale songs beneath the surface. Your guide will also take complimentary Canon tour photos, allowing you to put your camera down and simply enjoy the experience.
