Deposit € 4500,00 The Itineraries The itineraries we suggest are the result of many years of sailing experience in Sardinia and Corsica, and based on this experience we feel obliged to make some important observations: Always choose a suitable itinerary for your boat experience, a too demanding itinerary could cause you stress and not make you fully enjoy the holiday; You will have to consider the dimensions of the boat that you have hired, if the boat is small it will be more suitable for short or medium-range cruises, if it is large you can also consider the long voyages; It is advisable to always consult the crew before choosing an itinerary, this will avoid taking an undesirable journey to some of the friends on board; In the proposed cruises we point out the most beautiful bays to visit and the ideal stages, without being able to assess what the weather conditions will be at the time of your holiday, it will be up to you to adapt the itinerary to the weather situation; Many of the most beautiful islands, marked in the itineraries, are part of protected and regulated marine parks (for example the Archipelago of La Maddalena, the Isle of Lavezzi, the Island of Tavolara, the Island of Asinara). The itineraries we offer are only suggestions, it is not mandatory to follow one. Garibaldi (1 week): 93 miles - Portisco - Santa Teresa di Gallura - Porto CervoMonks (2 weeks): 169 miles - Portisco - Bay of San Cipriano - PortiscoNelson (1 week): 118 miles - Portisco - Porto Vecchio - PortiscoGiraglia (2 weeks): 400 miles - Portisco - Corsica tour - PortiscoThe Giraglia itinerary is long and challenging but at the same time adventurous and fascinating. You will make the rounds of Corsica and a stop in Capraia, in the Tuscan archipelago, the average daily distance will be 31 miles. Devil(2 weeks): 450 miles - Portisco - tour of Sardinia - Portisco. The Devil itinerary is the most challenging of those proposed by us, therefore we recommend it to crews with good sailing experience and who have rented a boat no smaller than 40 feet. The Sardinia tour includes an average daily distance of 35 miles, so it is important that all the crew have the pleasure of making long voyages. In the various stages of your journey, you will visit countries with very ancient and different cultures, but also wild and uninhabited corners of Sardinia. When the journey is over and you leave the boat the baggage of memories will be enormous. If you have any questions, we can answer those through GetMyBoat’s messaging platform before you pay. Just hit, “Request to Book” and send us an inquiry for a custom offer.

Given that it is an eventuality to be avoided at all costs, these are the consequences: - payment of the following full rental week; - payment of the costs of board and lodging of the crew that was supposed to take the boat and could not because of your delay. What happens if I return the boat late? If I find myself in a port far from Portisco, a few days after being returned and in bad weather, how can I return? We strongly advise you to be in the area of Portisco at least a couple of days before returning it and to consult the weather report daily. If you have difficulty returning, you can contact us by phone, we will send you a Skipper who will bring the boat back to Portisco. You will be responsible for the cost of the operation. Is it possible to board at 18.00, as per contract, and leave immediately? At 18.00, usually, the Check-in begins, which lasts about an hour, we do not recommend starting immediately after this operation, because it is now late and it is good to put away the luggage, the shopping and get some confidence with the boat before leaving. Is it mandatory to follow one of the itineraries indicated by the Cruising Charter? No, those itineraries are just examples or suggestions, each crew can decide on its own itinerary. The most important thing is to choose a rough itinerary appropriate to the crew's seaworthiness, the size of the boat, the duration of the holiday and which can be varied in the event of adverse weather conditions. Can I leave the car in the harbor area? Yes, the parking spaces inside the port are paid, externally they are free. If I arrive with my car where do I have to go to find the boat? Boats are moored at Pier 9. I don't have a boat license, can I rent the boat? Yes, up to the Bavaria 40, not the largest, and always within six miles of the coast. Is it possible to book a cabin, on one of your boats, and take a vacation with a group of your own? No, we do not sell single seats. Is the berth reserved for the return of the boat to the port? Yes. Is the mooring in Portisco included in the rental price? The Cruising Charter pays for the first and last night, the others are paid by the customer. What is the Bimini Top? A fabric cover, mounted on steel tubes, which shelters the cockpit of the boat from the sun. Is it possible to have life jackets for children? Yes, just ask for it at least a week before boarding. Will we find the waxed ones on board? No, we do not provide them. Is the final cleaning of the boat included? No, it is not included, it is a compulsory expense and you pay on boarding. What are the duties of the Skipper? The safe management of the boat for the crew and for the boat itself. Meet the crew's requests as much as possible in relation to weather conditions, the size of the boat and the seafaring abilities of the guests on board. It will be the Skipper's responsibility to keep all the technical and deck equipment of the boat in order. The Skipper is not in charge of cooking and tidying up the cabins. The skipper's food is charged to the customer. If I rent the boat with Skipper, do I have to pay the deposit? Yes, obviously, in that case, the deposit will not cover any damage related to the duties and responsibilities of the Skipper, first and foremost the management of the boat. It will serve to cover any damage caused by guests on board, for example to interior furnishings or the loss of equipment at sea, etc. The Skipper you proposed is an employee of the Cruising Charter? No, the Cruising Charter puts the customer in contact with the Skipper, the work between the customer and the Skipper. Can you contact a Skipper? Yes Is it possible to decrease the deposit amount? Yes, paying a non-refundable amount (details in the Rates) What is the function of the security deposit? Cover material damage to the boat, obligations and duties related to the rental period that would otherwise be the responsibility of the owner. Is the boat insured? Yes, the boat has two insurance policies: - civil liability, known as RC, which covers the damage that the boat could cause to third parties; - the Kasko which covers any damage that the rented boat could suffer up to the total loss. Is it possible to bring animals on board? No, the contract expressly prohibits it. If I booked the boat, but later did I have to give up the holiday, do I lose the sums paid? Yes. If boarding is at 18.00 and landing at 9.00 on the same day of the week, I will be able to sail only six days, why? Because the first and last night should be spent in Portisco, and it is common practice for all rental companies to use the nine hours between 9.00 and 18.00 to check, clean and prepare the boat for the next customer. What is the option? The option, which normally lasts seven days, is the time frame that allows the customer to decide whether or not to rent the desired boat without the risk of it being booked by others. The option is free and is not binding for the customer. What should I do to know the availability of a boat? You can contact us via GetMyBoat’s messaging platform.
