Rental Policies: The owner reserves the right to cancel any reservation due to unsafe weather conditions, including storms, lightning, high winds, or other conditions that may jeopardize the safety of passengers or the vessel. If the owner cancels due to weather, the renter will receive a 100% refund. Renter cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled rental date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of the rental date will be charged 50% of the total rental fee. One full tank of fuel is included with the rental. Renters are not required to refuel the vessel upon return. Any additional fuel required during the rental period is the responsibility of the renter and must be paid at the renter's expense. Any accidents, damage, mechanical issues, groundings, collisions, injuries, or other incidents occurring during the rental period must be reported to the owner immediately. Any towing fees, replacement parts, repairs, cleaning fees, or damages resulting from the renter's use of the vessel may be deducted from the security deposit and may result in additional charges if costs exceed the deposit amount. Prior to the rental, the primary operator must provide a digital copy of a valid Boater Safety Certificate and a valid government-issued photo ID. Only the approved renter/operator is authorized to operate the vessel. No other person may pilot, captain, or operate the boat without prior written approval from the owner. The vessel may not be operated under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or any impairing substance. Illegal activities of any kind are strictly prohibited during the rental period and will result in immediate termination of the rental without refund. The renter agrees to operate the vessel responsibly, comply with all federal, state, and local boating laws, and return the vessel in the same condition in which it was received.
