Imagine starting your morning with coffee or tea at our marina office, then heading out onto the peaceful ocean as the first light of the day appears and humpback whales begin to reveal themselves. Your private boat is reserved exclusively for your group, creating a personal and relaxed experience away from the crowds. Salty Cabo Excursions is an authorized whale watching company permitted by the Mexican government, and your tour is led by a professional captain and experienced marine naturalist guide following responsible whale-watching practices. There is no fixed route—we go where the whales take us. We’ll search the waters off San José del Cabo for humpback whales and other marine life. Depending entirely on nature, you may witness spectacular breaches, tail displays, mothers with calves, competitive groups, dolphins, Mobula rays, sea turtles, and more. When conditions allow, we’ll lower our hydrophone into the water so you can listen for humpback whale songs beneath the surface. We’ll also take complimentary Canon photos throughout your experience, allowing you to put your camera down, relax, and enjoy the moment. One of the best parts of our sunrise tour is the early return. You’ll be back at Puerto Los Cabos Marina around 9:00 AM, with the whole day still ahead of you to enjoy Los Cabos. Our Private Boat Enjoy your whale watching experience aboard our spacious and comfortable 27ft custom-built Stoner Boatworks vessel, powered by a 250 HP outboard engine.
