POLICIES: SUBJECT TO CHANGE Updated: 6/10/2021 Usage and Safety: - Renters AND operators must be at least 21 years of age - Operators must have either: a Safe Boating Certificate (SBC), a Certificate of Personal Watercraft Operation (CPWO) or a valid vessel operator license issued by the United States Coast Guard - If the operator obtained their certification after October 1, 2015 then a Safe Waterskiing Endorsement is required if waterskiing or tubing is to take place - Operators must have: Sufficient boating experience and knowledge of general boating safety practices prior to rentalSufficient knowledge of rental waters prior to rentalBe able to comprehend safety instructions - Operators and participants will be given a brief safety walkthrough before the rental period begins, HOWEVER: Participants and operators are responsible for absorbing, understanding, and asking questions about this informationProper due diligence and learning of proper boating safety should be done on the renter’s own accord PRIOR to the start of the rental - No vessel operation by unapproved operators - No vessel operation dusk to dawn - No removal of the vessel from the agreed upon rental premises - No operation of vessel by operators under the influence - No more than the maximum number of passengers on the boat at a time - No pets on vessel - No gas grills on vessel Damages/Security Deposit: - The renter is responsible for the condition of the vessel for the duration of the trip - We reserves the right to charge the renter for any changes in condition of the rented vessel - A hold of $750 will be placed on the renter’s credit card on the first day of the rental period - All, some, or more than the rental deposit will be taken for any change in condition of the vessel. This includes: Loss of vesselDamage to vesselLoss of items (Lifejackets, skis, ropes, fenders, etc.)Use of gas (only charged for what you use, boat will have full tank for start of rental)General cleanliness
