Welcome aboard the Miss Mary! I'm a Charleston native whose Irish and Scottish family has been building ships and navigating these waters since the 1800s. I captain this authentic 26' Duffy Lobsterman Launch. It is a classic Maine lobster boat with a deep dark blue hull and red and white canvas top for sun protection. It is pure Americana and perfect for the 250th celebration! We leave from my private slip at Ashley Marina and cruise past the historic downtown battery. Along the way we discuss Charleston Harbor's rich history with all the holy city's church steeples in the back ground. We will view the Yorktown aircraft carrier as if we were at sea with it. We will venture past the four Civil War forts in the harbor navigating around all the barrier islands that make this waterfront so special. This is the most romantic harbor on the East Coast, with dolphins, sea turtles, and manatees spotted in these waters! The Miss Mary comfortably accommodates up to 24 guests for day cruises, sunset trips, and evening outings. There is no parking at Marina so Ride share or paid parking at hotel next door for $10 is only option.
