Rental Policies – Bareboat Charter (Please Read Before Booking) Thank you for your interest in chartering my 19-foot Hurricane deck boat. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, please review the following important policies: • Bareboat Charter Terms: This is a bareboat rental. The renter assumes full responsibility for the operation, safety, and navigation of the vessel during the rental period. You must be at least 21 years old and have some form of boating experience to operate this vessel. • Boating Experience Required: Renters must have prior boating experience and be familiar with local boating laws. A brief safety and operation walkthrough will be provided before departure. I reserve the right to cancel the booking (full refund, but with $50 fee), if at check-in, you cannot safely operate the vessel. • Weather Policy: If weather conditions are deemed unsafe (e.g., high winds, lightning, heavy rain), we will reschedule your trip or issue a full refund (whichever you prefer). Final determination will be made at the owner’s discretion based on safety and marine forecasts. • Late Arrival / No-Show Policy: Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in shortened rental time. No-shows or cancellations within 3 days of the booking are non-refundable. Bookings cancelled before 3 days of the booking are 100% refundable. • Late Return Fee: The boat must be returned at the agreed-upon time. A fee of $25 will be charged for every 15 minutes the boat is returned late to cover potential scheduling disruptions and additional staffing time. • Fuel Policy: The boat will be provided with a full tank of gas. At the end of the rental, I will refill the tank and provide a copy of the fuel receipt. The renter will be responsible for reimbursing the exact cost of fuel used, and will be charged as such. Safety & Boat Rules: • No red wine or glass containers onboard. • No beaching the boat. • No towing (tubes, wakeboards, etc.) unless prior approval is given. • No operation under the influence of alcohol or drugs. • Renter is fully responsible for all damage or loss during the rental period. • Cleaning & Damage: Boat must be returned in the same condition it was received. Cleaning or damage fees may apply if excessive mess, stains, or damage occur.
