I use to be a competitive wakeboarder and love deep sea fishing. On my days off I’m usually at the island with my family. I know the waterways very well so I can direct you to all the best spots on the water based on the experience you’re looking for. On the day of your rental, I will send you a list of island and restaurant recommendations and give you access to a free app that helps you navigate the waters with ease. WHERE ARE WE ALLOWED TO GO DO? it's your choice! You are welcome to go and do anything you want as long as you are practicing the safety guidelines outlined in the FWC Motorboat Rental Safety Sheet. There's link below and you we be provided a copy with your contract the day of your rental. All you have to do is hop on the clean, fully fueled boat and start your adventure! It’s that simple!! SAFETY We provide all safety equipment and lifejackets. Children lifejackets available upon request. Please send your child’s approximate weight for proper fitting. FUEL Per Florida law, we cannot include fuel in the price. Therefore, fuel is not included and will be charged to your card once the trip is completed. Fuel fees ranges $30-50 per 4 hour rental. Good news, we trailer the boats and fill up at the gas stations which is half the cost of marinas! CHECK IN We will need you to arrive 20 minutes early to give you time to park and check in. We will also review all the safety equipment and the operations of the boat together and go over any questions you may have. AGE REQUIREMENTS If you are born before 1988, you are not required to take an online boaters safety course. If not or if you would like a refresher (recommended). NEED A CAPTAIN? I have a list of qualified captains and guides. Captains range from $50-60 per hour and Guides range from $30-40 per hour. The law does not require you to use a certified captain. Guides are less expensive and have the experience being boat owners themselves; the choice is yours. Feel free to request help for recommendations, I’m here to help. Please understand, the Captain fee is not included in the offer, even if the offer says “Captain included”. This is a way for us to know if you need a captain or not, we do not have control of the app’s context. WATER TOYS We have an inflatable 7 ft slide, Paddle boards, cooler, pop-up tent for shade, wakeboard, water skis, tow tube, and sand castle water toys available for small additional fee. • Slide $40 • Tube $30 • Wakeboard $30 • Skis $30 • Paddle board $30 • 10x10 Pop up tent $50 Sand castle free (limited available upon request) Cooler free (limited available upon request) Please keep in mind there’s limited availability on all items so first come first serve! *all accessories are included so a tube comes with tow rope and pump and skis/wakeboard come with ski rope. MORE IMPORTANT DETAILS If you need a captain and the boats capacity is 9 total. You can bring 8 adults. If you have children, there’s a weight limit so please advise on your approximate group size… usually 2 children equal 1 adult. Please no smoking. You can smoke on the islands or in the water. Small animals are welcome. Please inquire about larger animals. Minimum booking rate of 4 hours. Long and short term rentals available at discounted rates. Ask about our 1 week special! A waiver will be emailed to you the morning of your rental, please make sure to complete before boarding the boat or you're rental concierge will have a hard copy when you meet. TIPS AND TRICKS 1. When returning, the red marker is always on your right… red right return. 2. Never leave the boat unattended at the island, the tides change quickly and you could end up beached like Gilligan! 3. Always have your lines ready and someone ready to catch the dock when docking the boat. Watch out for the no wake zones typically by marinas, bridges and homes. 4. If you get pulled over by the authorities, show them your bareboat rental agreement when prompted. 5. If docking the boat, please make sure to compensate for tide fluctuations. Rory was amazing from beginning to end. He responded quickly, had all the information that we needed, answered all of the questions that I had. We had an awesome day on his pontoon boat. Would definitely rent from him again. Also got compliments from other boaters and how good his boat looked. The boat was easy to handle and was very clean and well cared for. We were able to take our dogs on the boat with us, and they enjoyed themselves very much.

Rented from Rory several times and it’s always been a GREAT experience. Our boat was missing a tow rope for wakeboard so Rory drive us one and met us near where we were. Despite 30 mins in traffic! Above and beyond - even gave us some wakeboard/ski tips!! :) boat was in great shape. Can’t wait to go out again.

The whole experience from booking to delivery to End was pretty great. Rory was pretty responsive. The boat delivery person (Ameer) was also pretty good. He even helped with navigation and showed me way out of marina on his jetski .

I was blessed to grow up with the gulf as my backyard. My brother at 10 and I at age 8 received our first boat to cruise around the gulf. When you charter my boat, you will need to sign a bareboat charter agreement. Please google and understand your rights as a bareboat charter. For one, you have to pay for you own fuel by law. I will send a receipt and fuel will be deducted from your deposit. You receive the boat full. No worries, my boat is fuel friendly. Please keep in mind, If you max out a boat with passengers, it will not perform like normal. Captains are included in the max capacity rating so you if need a captain and the boat has a max of 12, you can have you plus 10 more guests. Also, by law, if you would like to hire a captain, you will need to select your own captain; we will send you a contact list of certified captains who are familiar with our boats for you to choose from or you can hire through a website resource that we will provide once you book the boat : ) just so you know, you have the choose to hire anyone to operate the boat under bareboat law, even a friend or friend of a friend! I require everyone to have multiple years of experience to operate my boats so make sure to brush up on your boating lingo and laws, YOUTUBE is a great source for refresher videos : ) Please review the FWC motor boat rental safety sheet in your contract. If you have already paid for a captain and booked your reservation, the captain portion will be refunded through the website. By law, you will need to directly pay for your captain after the charter has ended. Typically, captain fees are $50 per hour unless the captain has indicated differently prior to the day of your charter. If you had a great experience, please don’t forget to tip your captain like you would tip a waitress or waiter 15-20% of your bill. We hope you have a great day on the water! By law, under a bareboat charter agreement, you have to hire and choose your captain directly. ***Please keep in mind this is a peer to peer boat sharing platform. Boat owners like myself are providing a much needed solution because there are not enough rental boats on the market for people to enjoy the lifestyle we love, so we make our personal boats available using a bareboat charter agreement; if you not familiar with a bareboat charter agreement, please google and do your research prior to booking. You will need to sign our bareboat agreement prior to boarding : ) We do our best to deliver the boat of your choice as well as cater to your requested start time. However, during periods of high demand such as weekends and holidays, we may need to switch your boat type and time. If we were to switch your boat, it would be if equal value to your original request or upgraded for free. Your start time may fluctuate an hour or two as well but we always give you more time on the backend of your reservation to make up for lost time. Additionally, we may need to move the meeting location; we will give plenty of notice. Thank you for your flexibility and understanding! Updated bad weather policy… Due to Florida’s unpredictable weather, we are offering a rescheduling program if needed. You will be able to reschedule and receive a credit for up to one year after your reservation date. Additionally, scattered showers are typical for Florida boaters in summer; it’s the lightning and wind that we don’t want ; ) We hope for good weather and happy boating! ADDITIONAL FEES YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO PAY A $150 CANCELLATION FEE IF YOU MISS THE CANCELLATION PERIOD. CLEANING FEE OF $50 if you leave your trash on the boat. DAMAGE POLICY If the vessel sustains any damages due to inappropriate use or operator error, the renter will be charged for all repairs, towing (if applicable). Itemized cost damages : Scratches and small damages (less than 3 ft ) $100 Small / medium damages (less than 5ft) $200 Large damages ( 5-10ft) $300 Lost rope $20 Lost buey ( fence ) $40 Lost whistle $15 Seat damage $100 Steer cable damage $500 Propeller scratches and dings $100 Running out of fuel $300 If there are no damages, no lost equipment and the vessel is return on time, the security deposit will be refunded.
