Guests are responsible for following all boating laws, posted rules, and instructions provided at check-in. The renter/operator is responsible for the safe operation of the boat during the rental, including passenger safety, speed, docking, navigation, and avoiding damage to the vessel, docks, other boats, and property. No Ballard Locks, no watersports, no towing tubes, and no unsafe or reckless operation. The boat must stay within approved cruising areas and may not be used in unsafe weather, high winds, restricted areas, or after dark unless specifically approved. We reserve the right to delay, reschedule, cancel, or end a rental early if conditions are unsafe or if rules are not followed. Guests are responsible for any damage, excessive cleaning, lost equipment, late returns, citations, or costs caused during the rental. Fuel is handled by Ahoy Rentals after the trip, so guests do not need to stop at the fuel dock. Please message us 10 to 15 minutes before returning and return on time so the next booking is not affected. Alcohol must be used responsibly, and the operator may not be impaired. All children and anyone who cannot swim should wear a life jacket. Pets are welcome with the applicable pet fee, but guests are responsible for any pet-related damage or cleaning. By booking, guests agree to operate the boat responsibly, follow all safety instructions, and accept responsibility for their group during the rental. Weather-related changes are handled at our discretion based on safety and lake conditions.
