It's a learning experience that can be taken back to your own boat and used. The Spring season, late March through the end of May has probably the best walleye fishing in the world! Walleyes from 5 to 9 pounds are very common, with several reaching 11 and 12 pounds. For one of these trips, you have to book EARLY! June begins a number of exciting trips onto Lake Erie trolling for walleyes or casting for smallmouth bass. These fish are the best eating walleyes of the year, averaging 2 to 4 pounds. Although not as large as the spring run fish, a day of reeling in 25 to 40 fish is common and a lot of fun. What To Expect Onboard: The 20 foot Crestliner TS202, Tournament-grade, Walleye boat. The boat is fully insured and has been inspected by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources as a qualified Charter Boat. This boat is loaded with three fish locators, a GPS navigation system, TR-1 Trolling Solutions Auto-Pilot, marine radio, three motors, and enough technology to nearly require NASA's approval before leaving the dock. The goal of each day's fishing trip is to have every guest thoroughly enjoy the day, laugh, have a good time, and learn something about the how, why, and where's the better fishing.
