We're happy to share our Catalina Capri 22 for a day of sailing in Seattle. This boat is light, well balanced, and carries a deep keel that keeps it steady even when the wind picks up. This charter does not include a captain. We built this trip for sailors who want an easy, uncomplicated ride, whether you've sailed for years or you're still learning the ropes. Our cockpit gives everyone room to spread out, with comfortable seating for five. When the sun gets strong or the wind turns cool, our small cabin below deck gives you a place to store gear or take a break out of the weather. We keep the boat easy to handle in and out of the slip with a dependable outboard, so getting underway takes just a few minutes. Once you clear the marina, the sails do the rest of the work, and the ride settles into something calm and steady. Onboard Features: - Cockpit seating for five - Small cabin for gear storage and shelter - Roller furler headsail - New 4 hp Mercury outboard engine Vessel Specs: - Catalina Capri 22 - Built in 2005 - 22ft length overall - Capacity for 5 guests We keep this boat simple on purpose. The deep keel and light build make it forgiving in a gust and easy to trim, so you spend more time enjoying the water and less time fighting the helm. The roller furler headsail means raising and adjusting sail takes one motion instead of several, which keeps the day moving smoothly from the dock to open water. Our cabin isn't large, but it's enough to stash coolers, jackets, and bags out of the wind, and it gives you a quiet spot to sit if the breeze turns brisk. With five seats in the cockpit, there's room for a small group to sail together without feeling cramped. We think this boat strikes a good balance between a lively sail and an easy afternoon on the water, and we look forward to having you out with us.
