Giannutri Island

Giannutri is the southernmost island of the Tuscan Archipelago and is located about 8 miles south-east of the island of Giglio and approximately six miles south of the Argentario. In winter the frequency of connections is reduced. On the island, which is under the protection of the Park of the Tuscan Archipelago, there are hotels and camping is prohibited but you can rent small private residences. The largest number of dwellings was concentrated at Cala Spalmatoio, where this is the only small square island (call Piazzetta) with a bar-pizzeria and a small supermarket.

A Punta Scaletta are the remains of a Roman hull is still intact, while Cala Spalmatoio are wrecks of Etruscan and Roman. The island has great interest in the underwater, thanks to the vertical walls rich in sea fans, sponges, coral and tunicates.

Giglio Island

Just 11 miles off the coast of the Argentario, is the island of Giglio, the second largest island of the Tuscan Islands. This wild island is inhabited by about 1400 people divided into fractions of: Giglio Porto, Giglio Castello and Campese. In these small towns you will find a wide variety of typical restaurants and bars to enjoy the typical Tuscan flavors.

The island of Giglio, notorious for the recent misfortunes of the coast Concordia, is much more ancient origins, in fact, are located near Giglio Porto the remains of Roman villas.

With well 21Km of coastline, tourists can find both rocky cliffs sandy beaches to alternate long swim to the sea with excursions in the most underground to discover such as the hill of the Pagan high nearly 500 meters. Other activity not to be missed are diving.

Red Island

The Red Island is just over a rock that signals to the left the beginning of one of the wild coves of the Argentario: Dead Sea. The barren basin, reachable on foot is characterized by crystal clear waters in shades of green that guarantee, despite the austere name, calm waters despite the conditions of the open sea.

This natural swimming pool and sheltered basin offers a great beach for swimming but also for observation, thanks to its clear water, small fish, crabs and hermit crabs. The presence of rocks on the seabed in siaq small beach.

Cala Grande

Cala is a big wide bay framed by the dense vegetation, easily accessible by boat. A breathtaking three beaches made up pebbles greets you on your arrival.

At Cala Grande you will find an extreme peace and spend time diving or sunbathing lying on the large and smooth boulders that characterize it. A mask and a snorkel will make you discover a seabed of rare beauty.
